Dr. Doyle Collection

In June of 1949, Dr. Frances Doyle graduated from the Medical College of South Carolina, making her the first local woman to be a doctor. She practiced here in Georgetown in the field of pediatrics. Many photos show Dr. Doyle with her young patients that she helped to make healthy and strong for over four decades.
