Elizabeth Allston Pringle's masterpiece, first published in book form in 1913 written under the pseudonym "Patience Pennington".  This is a carefully written history and autobiography spanning from ante-bellum days through the Civil War and up to World War I.  The book is beautifully illustrated with over 80 drawings by famous Charleston artist Alice Ravenel Huger Smith.  This high quality hardback is from a 1991 printing of only 200 copies.  Sales limited to only 2 copies per customer.
